A small lane in the heart of Melbourne's legal district inspired Dante - just back
from a three year culinary tour of Europe - to open a lunch-time
wining and dining retreat. Hardware Lane and its
European-like atmosphere naturally suggested the
name "Vialetto", meaning "little street". |

Initially designed to pamper the needs of the business community, Vialetto quickly
forged a reputation for fine food and wine and snappy service in the highly demanding
lunch time setting. Today, Vialetto finds itself changing in response to an increasingly
vibrant and exciting city lifestyle. |
